Traffic Monitoring System

Traffic Monitoring System

AI-based video analytics traffic monitoring and processing platform

What is the project about?

The use of TMS supports cities and transport authorities in more efficiently managing road, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic.

The goal is to reduce traffic congestion, improve the efficiency of the road network, and enhance traffic safety. As a system integrator, we ensure the coordinated operation of traffic monitoring cameras, CCTV, weather monitoring sensors, and variable message signs (VMS). The TMS web-accessible interface and dashboard can be customized based on specific needs.

System Elements

Camera-based traffic supervision

Our algorithms are capable of analyzing and interpreting real-time traffic data using existing road cameras. This allows the identification and monitoring of traffic density, vehicle license plates, speed, and direction, as well as sending alerts for traffic anomalies or detected accidents.

Intelligent control system

Based on the collected and processed data, TMS dynamically regulates the traffic signs (VMS) in line with current traffic conditions. In addition to traffic data, the system can be extended with weather and emission data, whose critical values may impact safe and environmentally-friendly transportation.

Data collection and analysis

With the help of AI, we create predictive models for traffic patterns under various time periods and conditions. These models enable cities and transport authorities to more effectively plan transportation systems.

Operational efficiency analysis

Our data analysis supports the evaluation of operational efficiency, including the examination of infrastructure utilization and efficiency. TMS allows for more efficient use of resources and reduces operational costs.

Data Collection

#1

Traffic data

Real-time traffic data, including the number of vehicles, their speed, and routes.

#2

Weather data

The impact of weather conditions on traffic processes, such as avoiding traffic congestion during rain or snowfall.

#3

Accident statistics

Data on accidents from previous periods, which can help in determining road safety measures and developing accident prevention strategies.

#4

Traffic rush hours

Identification of periods and locations where traffic is particularly dense, helping traffic controllers optimize traffic flow.

#5

Road network load

The number and frequency of vehicles passing through road sections and intersections, used for analyzing the load on the road network.
